Several of our neighbors noticed that the High School competition field lights were left on late into the night on Friday, February 3. The HOA board contacted the new district superintendent, Dr Bruce Gearing, and received a call from the High School athletic director, Howard Ballard, this morning. Mr Ballard apologized for the incident, explaining that the system designed to ensure the lights turned off had been overridden and the lights had not been turned off after Friday's soccer match.
Mr Ballard assured the board that the issue had been addressed by staff and should not happen again. In the event it does happen, he asked that the board publish his contact information so the problem could be immediately resolved (Howard can be reached at 512.736-9736).
